Although most people see skin conditions as a superficial problem, if you suffer from one you know not to take it so lightly. It could be from an underlining illness or a warning to change your lifestyle. If you suffer from something like eczema, then your self-confidence may suffer. You may even shut people out and fail to meet new people.

Dr. Tim Ioannides has treated any skin condition you can think of in his over 15 years in Dermatology. Here are some common skin conditions. With Psoriasis, the skin becomes thicker and looks red or scaly. Eczema is a general name for itchy, red, and irritated skin.

Contact Dermatitis, a type of eczema that forms from contact to allergens. If your skin is itchy, swollen, red, and possibly cracked, that is called Atopic Dermatitis. Rosacea is an auto-inflammatory condition that has flare-ups of redness and pimples on the face. Get Additional Information Here.

Dr. Tim Ioannides always recommends vitamin D because he has seen it make a world of difference for skin health. Vitamin D strengthens bones, teeth, immune system, and nervous system. Vitamin D is received through, our body, food, and the Sun. One common reason you are not getting enough vitamin D is not eating enough foods such as, salmon, ham, yogurt, or fortified cereals. One that most don’t realize is using sunscreen. Sunscreen is used to defend your skin against cancers and premature aging. This also blocks your opportunity to create vitamin D.
