A man of considerable life experience, Vinod Gupta is a treasure trove of Valuable Business Insight. In hopes of arousing inspiration in others, Gupta is very forthcoming about his rags to riches transformation. Born and bred in the slums of an Indian village, Gupta’s family never basked in the splendors of luxurious lifestyles. In fact, they weren’t even afforded basic necessities. Gupta’s humble upbringing undoubtedly shaped his modest disposition. Moreover, his tried-and-true business approach of “starting conservatively” emanated from his underprivileged roots.

When Vinod Gupta uprooted his life in India to resettle in America, he had little to his name. Fortunately, his passion was bursting at the seams. Upon his arrival in the land of dreams, he attended the University of Nebraska where he received a substantial education while assimilating to American culture. Though Gupta had his qualms about settling in America, he kept reminding himself that “fortune favors the bold.” This mindset galvanized him into action, in turn creating immense success for Gupta and his enterprises. Now a renowned and affluent businessman, Gupta’s aspirations of becoming an entrepreneur finally came to fruition.

Above all else, Gupta attributes his success to his unwavering tenacity. In fact, Gupta maintains that if his blind ambition hadn’t motivated him to seize opportunities, he’d likely still be languishing in the small village he grew up in. Though Vinod Gupta’s established his eminence in business, he makes ongoing efforts to diversify his corporations and reinvent the wheel. While immersing himself in his work ignites his passion, Gupta reveals that doing charitable works is what ultimately fuels his drive. Most of all, Gupta is committed to “providing the gift of education.” From funding schools to providing scholarships, Gupta makes earnest attempts to bolster scholars.
